Mata ki Chowki & Jagran for families in Gandhinagar

A decorated chowki, a small raised seat, is set up for the Goddess, the akhand jyot is lit, and the evening is filled with bhajans, katha and aarti. A Jagran, also called Jagrata, is the longer form that continues through the night until dawn.
