Overview
Kundali Milan is the traditional practice of comparing the birth charts of a prospective bride and groom before marriage. Many Hindu families consider it an important step, alongside family conversations and personal compatibility, when deciding on a match.
This is a consultation service, not a puja. A Jyotish-trained Pandit prepares and reviews the charts, explains the Ashtakoota (36 guna) matching and any points families usually ask about, such as Mangal Dosha, and answers your questions in plain language. The same consultation can also cover choosing a wedding muhurat or an auspicious date for other sanskars.
Our approach is calm and honest. Astrology is a matter of tradition and faith, and the Pandit’s role is to explain what the charts traditionally indicate, not to create fear or make promises. Final decisions always rest with the couple and their families.

Jyotish is one of the six Vedangas, the traditional disciplines associated with the Vedas, and has long been used by families to choose auspicious times for important life events. Matching horoscopes before marriage is a widely followed custom, though its weight differs between communities and families.
The Ashtakoota system assesses eight aspects, such as Varna, Vashya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gana, Bhakoot and Nadi, for a total of 36 points. Pandits typically look beyond the score alone, considering the charts as a whole and any traditional remedies a family may wish to consider.
