Sundarkand Path for families in Alopibagh
Sundarkand Path is the recitation of Sundarkand, the fifth book of Goswami Tulsidas's Ramcharitmanas, which describes Hanuman's leap across the ocean, his search for Sita in Lanka, his meeting with her in the Ashok Vatika and his return to Shri Rama with news of her. It is a chapter of courage, devotion and hope.
Alopibagh takes its name from the Alopi Devi Mandir, one of the best known Devi temples of Prayagraj. The temple is unusual in that devotees worship a wooden doli, or palanquin, rather than a murti of the Goddess.
