Overview
Sri Chakra (Navavarana) Puja for families in Anjanapura
Sri Chakra Puja, also called Navavarana Puja, is the worship of the Divine Mother as Lalita Tripurasundari in the form of the Sri Chakra, the geometric yantra at the heart of the Sri Vidya tradition. The yantra is made of nine enclosures, or avaranas, and the puja moves inwards through each of them to the bindu at the centre.
Anjanapura is a large BDA township in south Bangalore, lying off Kanakapura Road between Thalaghattapura, Gottigere and Konanakunte. Its blocks of allotted sites have slowly filled with independent houses, and many sites are still being built on.
