Overview
Sri Chakra (Navavarana) Puja for families in Jawahar Nagar
Sri Chakra Puja, also called Navavarana Puja, is the worship of the Divine Mother as Lalita Tripurasundari in the form of the Sri Chakra, the geometric yantra at the heart of the Sri Vidya tradition. The yantra is made of nine enclosures, or avaranas, and the puja moves inwards through each of them to the bindu at the centre.
Jawahar Nagar lies beyond Dammaiguda and Kapra, on the north east edge of Hyderabad, and is now its own municipal corporation. The BITS Pilani Hyderabad campus is located here, and the area has grown rapidly with plotted layouts and independent houses.
