Overview
Sri Chakra (Navavarana) Puja for families in Mallepally
Sri Chakra Puja, also called Navavarana Puja, is the worship of the Divine Mother as Lalita Tripurasundari in the form of the Sri Chakra, the geometric yantra at the heart of the Sri Vidya tradition. The yantra is made of nine enclosures, or avaranas, and the puja moves inwards through each of them to the bindu at the centre.
Mallepally lies west of Nampally, between Aghapura, Asif Nagar and Vijayanagar Colony. The Government ITI at Mallepally has trained generations of electricians, fitters and mechanics, and the surrounding lanes have long been home to tradesmen and small business families.
