Shani Shanti Puja in Varanasi
Shani Shanti puja is performed to seek relief during Sade Sati, Shani Dhaiya or a difficult Shani dasha. In Varanasi the Pandit performs Shani mantra jaap, offerings of til and oil, and often a havan, usually on a Saturday.
