Kachiguda
Kachiguda grew around its railway station, one of the older stations of the city, and still carries that character of trade, lodging houses and shop-lined streets. Chikkadpally, Narayanguda and the old city are all within a short distance.
Marwari, Gujarati and other North Indian trading families settled here generations ago and live alongside long-established Telugu households. Many of them run a business on the ground floor and live on the floors above, in buildings the family has held for decades.
