Kollur
Kollur sits west of Hyderabad just beyond the Outer Ring Road, on the Patancheru side of the western corridor. Until recently it was largely open land; today it holds some of the largest residential township projects in the region, with thousands of flats handed over in phases.
Most residents here work in the IT corridor at Gachibowli, the Financial District or Nanakramguda, and a large share are first-time homeowners moving into their own flat. Families come from across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and other states, so customs vary widely from tower to tower.
Rituals families seek here
Gruhapravesam is by far the most booked ritual in Kollur, as handovers happen in batches and whole floors move in within the same few weeks. Families usually hold Vastu Shanti alongside it, and many follow with a Satyanarayana Vratham on the same day or the next weekend.
