What is Shukra Graha Shanti?
Shukra is associated in Jyotish with love, harmony, beauty, the arts, comfort and refinement. Shukra Graha Shanti is a graceful puja performed to honour him, often chosen by couples, artists and families who wish to invite sweetness and balance into the home.
The vidhi typically includes Ganesh puja, sankalp, Shukra puja on white cloth with rice, white flowers, curd and camphor, and jaap of the Shukra beej mantra 'Om Draam Dreem Draum Sah Shukraya Namah'. A full anushthan commonly involves 16,000 recitations; shorter counts are also chosen.
