Overview
Baglamukhi Puja is the worship of Goddess Baglamukhi, the eighth of the ten Mahavidyas in the Shakta tradition. She is also known as Pitambara, the one dressed in yellow, and yellow runs through every part of her worship, from the clothes of the devotee to the flowers, the mala and the naivedya.
Families commonly turn to Baglamukhi Puja when facing disputes, court cases, strong opposition or persistent obstacles, and pray for calm and a fair outcome. The vidhi usually includes Ganesh Pujan, invocation of the Goddess, yellow offerings, japa of her mantra with a haldi mala and, where the family wishes, a havan. A longer anushthan with a larger count of japa can be arranged over several days.
Her best known temples include the Pitambara Peeth at Datia in Madhya Pradesh. The Pandit follows the vidhi suited to your intention and your family's tradition.

Baglamukhi is associated with stambhana, the power to still and restrain. Tradition describes her as calming a great storm that threatened creation, and her worship is understood as bringing stillness to hostile speech and harmful intentions.
Devotees see her grace as the strength to remain steady and truthful when facing opposition, rather than as harm to anyone else.

The altar is set with a yellow cloth and an image or yantra of Goddess Baglamukhi. The devotee is encouraged to wear yellow as well.
The puja begins with Ganesh Pujan and a sankalp that names the family, gotra and the specific intention.
The Goddess is invoked and offered yellow flowers, haldi, yellow sweets and chana dal along with the traditional upacharas.
Japa of the Baglamukhi mantra is performed with a haldi mala. The count depends on the chosen vidhi and anushthan.
Where the family wishes, a havan is performed with offerings associated with the Goddess.
The puja concludes with aarti and a prayer for calm, truth and a fair resolution.
