What is Annaprashan Sanskar?
The traditional ceremony in which a baby is fed their first solid food, usually rice kheer, with Vedic prayers for health and nourishment.
A Pandit performs Ganapathi pooje, the sankalpa and prayers for the child's health, then guides the parents or grandparents as they feed the first morsel.
