What is Guru (Brihaspati) Graha Shanti?
A traditional Thursday puja for Brihaspati, the guru of the devas, performed with yellow offerings and the Guru beej mantra to seek wisdom, guidance and blessings.
The Pandit worships Brihaspati on yellow cloth with chana dal, turmeric and yellow flowers, and recites the Guru mantra for the count you choose. It is often booked around Guru dasha or a Jupiter transit that the family astrologer has pointed out.
