What is Mundan Sanskar?
The traditional first haircut ceremony for a child, performed with Vedic prayers, at home or on the banks of the Ganga in Varanasi.
When done at home, the Pandit performs Ganapathi pooje, punyahavachana and the Chaula rites, and a barber you arrange completes the haircut at the right moment.
