The formal completion of a vow of Ekadashi fasts, with Vishnu puja, havan, and offerings to Brahmins, performed after the fasts are kept for the chosen period.
The form differs by tradition. Madhwa families, who keep Ekadashi strictly, often have precise matha guidance, while North Indian families may follow the Ekadashi Udyapan Vidhi from the Padma Purana with a havan and daan.
