Worship of Goddess Katyayani, a form of Durga traditionally invoked by unmarried women and families praying for a suitable, harmonious marriage.
A Pandit leads the kalasha sthapana, Devi archane with red flowers and kumkuma, the mantra japa and mangalarati, and can include a short homa where the home permits.
